I just think this is one of the prettiest pictures I have ever taken.

Picture was taken in Yellowstone National Park, September 2005.

  2. Great moment captured. It does make me wonder what some of the first color pictures of the park would tell us, enviornmentally speaking.

  3. OMG, this picture is AWESOME! And it hits so hard. I’ve been thinking about Yellowstone for a couple of months now. I visited it with my parents as a kid (early 90s) and I want to go back badly. Actually I would love to work there. I’m a biologist, so maybe one day… This picture makes me crave Yellowstone ever so badly!

  4. Uncleshag,
I am sure they could tell us a great deal. The park has changed a great deal. Especially considering that for the first many years, no one seemed to have any idea what they were doing. When they finally figured out that what they were doing wasnt a good thing they started working on correcting their mistakes. Which wasnt such a great idea either. The ecosystem in the park is totally screwed up, and I personally dont think there is ever a way to correct it. A shame. Besides that, the park is still a wonderful place to visit :)

  5. Tina,
I have so many more pictures from Yellowstone and I will be happy to share them here :)
We go on a car vacation every year in September. Last year it was Yellowstone. And I must say that it was the greatest experience ever.

Thanks for visiting, and please be sure to come back :)

  7. Stefani,
    Thanks for stopping by.
Since you have never been to Yellowstone, I suggest you add it to your to-do list. I think visiting Yellowstone was my best vacation experience ever.

  9. Wow. Indeed, if I didn’t already want to go there, this would convince me too! Now only if it wasn’t so far away…
